The European
Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) and the Mediterranean
Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh), Crete, organize the 120th
EAAE Seminar on External Cost of Farming Activities: Economic
Evaluation, Risk Considerations, Environmental Repercussions
and Regulatory Framework to be held in September 2 – 4,
2010. Participants who would like to present a paper are requested

Forum 2010 aims to take stock of current research on institutional
change in agriculture and rural areas and the corresponding
challenges for new modes of governance. The conference should
spell out lessons learned from recent experience and update
the agenda of policy-makers in agriculture and rural affairs.
The areas focused on are Central and Eastern Europe and Central
