ASA CAP Reform Meeting

The interest in information on the intricacies and complexities of the EU Commission proposals on the new Common Agricultural Policy post 2013 was reflected in the huge attendance of Irish ASA members at the special briefing held last Friday 2 December. Members from across all sectors of the agri-food industry travelled to Portlaoise and heard excellent presentations from Aidan O'Driscoll, the most senior Irish official involved in the negotiations as well as from ASA members, Mairead McGuinness MEP and Farmers Journal specialist on the CAP, Peter Young
